February 26 Last week in our U10’s, Cali Ladies beat Middleton Rangers 2-1 and Kader drew 0-0 with Marton FC. In the U12’s Cali Ladies beat Redcar Athletic 4-0 thanks to goals from Katie Povey, Emily Docherty and Katie Swale with two. Stockton Town Yellow lost 2-7 at home to Kader and Skelton Utd lost 1-0 in the Cup to Redcar Athletic Lasses. Stockton Town Blue beat Middleton Rangers 4-0 thanks to a hat trick from Erin Scullion and one from Rebekah Higgins. Our U14’s saw Cali Ladies get back to winning ways with a 7-2 home win over Brompton with two goals from Abby Ralphs and one each from, Emily Ralphs, Kelsie Hill, Shannon Smith, Eve Marshall and Belen Cansado Fernandez with Milly Wilbor replying with a brace for Brompton. The only other match saw Redcar Athletic travel to Skelton and come away with the three points thanks to a fi ne 5-1 win, with Beth Enderwick and Abby Robertson scoring a brace each and Alice Clements netting one with Charlotte Selstrom replying for Skelton.

March 5th Over the weekend our U10’s were in league action with Marton FC losing 1-0 at home to Stockton Town, Middleton Rangers drawing 0-0 with Kader and Redcar Athletic sharing the spoils with a 1-1 draw at home to Cali

In the U12’s Middleton Rangers lost 2-3 at home to Cali Ladies, Stockton Town Yellow lost 2-6 to Stockton Town Blue, Redcar Athletic Lasses won 1-0 in the semi fi nal against South Park Rangers thanks to a Faye Gardner goal and Redcar Athletic FC lost 7-0 at home to Kader with goals from Chloe Biggs (4) Francis White (2) and one from Demi Tidy. In the U14’s Brompton entertained Skelton Utd and went down 7-0 with goals from Charlotte Law (3), Leoni Moore (2) and one each for Rebecca Tyreman and Charlotte Selstrom. Kader lost 1-4 at home to Cali Ladies and Redcar Athletic beat Nunthorpe 5 -0 at home in a close game thanks to goals from Beth Enderwick, Alice Clements, Ellie Turner, Abbie Robertson and Sophie Wake with Nunthorpe hitting the woodwork four times. In the U16’s Cali Ladies were looking to win their last league game to complete a remarkable 100% record but on the day the visitors Brompton played really well and just edged the match 2-1. March 12th We had a mixture of league and Challenge Cup fixtures over the weekend. league Stockton Town drew 1-1 with Kader. In the U12’s Cup Kader lost 3-1 to South Park Rangers with Lauren Farrow hitting a brace and one from Nia Maloney, Stockton Town Blue beat Skelton 3-2 with two goals from Erin Scullion and one from Rebekah Higgins and Stockton Town Yellow beat Middleton Rangers 2-1. In the league Redcar Athletic Lasses drew 0-0 with Cali Ladies. In the U14’s we had two Challenge Cup matches with Cali Ladies beating Brompton 5-0 and Skelton Utd beating Kader 8-2. In the U16’s Brompton beat Beechwood 2-0 with goals from Rachel Harding and Emily Harrison. We have chosen our Team of the Month Awards for December/January and February. We decided to join December and January together because of the awful weather in December when only one game was played. Redcar Athletic U14’s earned the joint month award due to their emphatic semi -fi nal win over Richmond Town by 14 goals to nil to reach the fi nal of the Tesco Cup and winning all their three matches in January with the 4-0 quarter fi nal  in away at fi erce rivals California Ladies. The February Award went to Nunthorpe U14’s who found their form and won all three league games with two being against the league leaders Cali Ladies earning a 4-2 and 3-2 victory and to make it even better for them they earned a Tesco Cup Final place by beating Cali on penalties.
