Warm welcome for new dispensing chemist in Lingdale

A great new addition to Lingdale High Street is the opening of a dispensing chemist, Lingdale Pharmacy, offering a vast choice of services. Owner Zulf Rafi q, who also has two Middlesbrough based pharmacies told Coastal View: “I am very proud of this new family business, which has been almost two years in the planning. “None of this would have been possible had it not been for the help of family, friends and the new dedicated local staff who have all worked so hard to get the shop open. We pride ourselves on the fact that we offer friendly, professional and personal service to all our customers and I am so pleased with the warm welcome we have been given by the residents of Lingdale and surrounding villages.” Lingdale Pharmacy offers free healthcare advice, free private consultations and free NHS services.

They are able to offer a free prescription collection and delivery service throughout the immediate areas including Lingdale, Moorsholm, Stanghow, Margrove Park, Charltons, Slapewath, Skelton  Green , North Skelton, Kiltonthorpe and Brotton. A Moorsholm  resident told us: “The nearest chemist is a few miles away from where I live, so the opening of this shop is a real blessing to people like me, and it’s so much closer. If I want, I can order my prescription, or the chemist will do it for me, and they deliver it to my house and this is saving me time and worry. They are so friendly and helpful and can’t do enough for me.” The shop carries a wide range of goods ranging from baby items, healthcare products, toiletries and items for the older generation. Zulf said: “Lingdale Pharmacy will be able to professionally assist you whatever your age or requirements and should we not have what you want in stock, it can be ordered and usually collected within 48 hours.” The shop is open six days a week.
