Join in with the neighbourhood police fun

Loftus, Carlin How, Liverton Mines and Brotton

Cleveland Police are starting the ‘Week of Action’ on 10/02/2012 and this will run until 17/02/2012. It involves a multi agency approach where the Police and partner agencies will be working together to tackle crime and disorder throughout the half term. Last year myself and PCSO Nic Rothwell organised sporting activities for local children such as football, rounders and hockey. It was so successful that we have planned activities throughout the ‘Week of Action’. Please see below:

Saturday 11th February

Ben Scotts Field Loftus

Sunday 12th February

MUGGA Carlin How

Monday 13th February

Cricket Field Liverton Mines

Tuesday 14th February

Badger Hill Play Park Brotton

Wednesday 15th February

Coop Building Loftus

Table Tennis Competition

If you are sixteen or under or know anyone who is, please feel free to come along and join in! All activities are dependant on weather conditions and are free of charge.     PCSO Rachael Dack

There will be a community planting day on Tuesday 14th February at Boosbeck Community Centre in partnership with Coast & Country housing. PCSO Paul Payne and Kelly Westwick will be inviting local school children in the half term holidays to re plant the tubs, do a litter pick, paint the seating and re paint the hop scotch slabs in the community centre communal garden. This will be followed by free hot dogs and buns for all those who take part, which will then be followed by a free prize bingo in the community centre for young and old. All are welcome and we would encourage any parents to pop along and join in. We also plan to have the fire brigade and Police carrier in attendance for everyone to have a look around.      PCSO Paul Payne
