A Celebration of Creation in Flowers, Arts and Crafts Creation will be celebrated at St. Nicholas Church, Guisborough, 17 – 20 May2012.
Genesis sets the scene – Seven Days of that First Week as we enter by the Dark Arch (N. Aisle) and travel past scenes depicting each day to leave through the Rainbow (S. Aisle).
The scenes are a celebration of God’s Creation and the creative skills of many people using floral arrangements, embroidery, paintings, woodcraft and photography.
And the setting itself, St Nicholas Church, celebrates vision and creativity through architecture, embroidery, and wood carving and stained window skills of past and present artists.
The launch event at 7.00pm on Thursday, May 17, includes wine, nibbles and a comprehensive programme and is by ticket (£5) from each of these 01287 numbers 638134 / 634253 / 633434 / 634343.
The exhibition will be open to the public between10am and 4.00pm on Friday(18th) and Saturday (19th), and from11.00am to 4.00pm on Sunday(20th)free though programmes will be available.
