New Cycle routes into Redcar & Cleveland

The New Sustrans signs for the Kilton Lane Brotton T junction have arrived in time for the Bank Holiday weekend to promote cyclist into our Borough.

The signs in the Esk Valley have been donated and erected by the North Yorks Moors National Parks.

The NCN168 has been designed to elevate the tourism within Redcar & Cleveland by bringing North Sea Cyclist who normally bypass our Borough out of the Esk Valley and over into Guisborough via Percy Cross and Roseberry Moor.
This track elevates across such a wonderful landscape with its magnificent views of Cleveland and Highcliffe Nab, indeed it is the perfect gateway into our County of adventures, Seaside sport and wonderful history with lots to see and visit.

The next project is to amplify our history through track side display boards and places to visit.

Thanks to Redcar & Cleveland Council for providing the new Post on Kilton lane.

The signs cost just over a £100, money raised by the Twelve Sustrans Redcar Rangers.
