Boosbeck slaughterhouse update By Mark Belch

Just wanted to update you on the Boosbeck slaughterhouse situation.
The residents of Boosbeck are being represented in the High Court on Wednesday in our application for a judicial review against RCBC’s decision to grant a lawful development certificate. We are being represented at the Royal Courts of Justice in the Strand by Richard Gordon QC, who is widely recognised as being one of the Country’s leading barristers in Administrative and Public Law.
We are very fortunate to have the backing of such a high profile QC and this is partly due to the generosity of donations we have received and the commitment of our solicitors, Richard Buxton Environmental and Public Law. I’ll be at the Court on Wednesday and will let you know how things progress, if any decisions are made on the day.
